Job description

As an integral part of a young team, you will work in the heart of Mannheim on the conception and implementation of social media measures and their monitoring. You are responsible for the social media channels (especially Facebook and other online portals). You develop ideas, concepts and create editorial content for the various portals. You also develop and support campaigns, proactively advise clients and act as the interface between client and agency.

Your profile

• Completed studies in the following fields (or a comparable degree)
• Communication sciences or marketing or a comparable journalistic qualification
• Relevant (several years) professional experience in the areas of social media or content marketing
• Good sense of topics, textual confidence and passion for creative brand communication in digital media
• Sound knowledge of relevant tools for social media editing, reporting and monitoring
• Independent, structured, result- and detail-oriented way of working
• Business fluent in written and spoken English
• Other foreign languages would be an advantage (especially French, Spanish)
• Interculturally sensitive and experienced
• Confident and convincing appearance
• Strong communication skills and team spirit
• Independent and structured way of working
• Able to work under pressure and flexible

We are now looking for interns to support us in the editing of our portals. You are also welcome to work from your home office.

We – za:media GmbH – are an agency for marketing, events, booking and design from Mannheim. We advise regional and national clients in all advertising matters, design events all over Europe and are one of the leading agencies in Germany in the field of ethnic marketing.

• Writing articles for offline and online publications
• Translating articles into English and/or French
• Independent project work
• Maintenance of social media channels
• Support with organisational tasks

What you bring with you

• Ability to work independently, motivation and initiative
• Confident writing of short and longer texts
• Confident handling of Microsoft Office
• Good English language skills
• Studying or having completed a degree in the field of media / communication, journalism, social sciences, humanities or cultural studies, or similar.
